*** Did Immunization Solved The S.I.D.S Problem? ***
Some of the babies died the night or so after the first DPT inmmunization at 2 months of age. Many parents elected not to have their babies immunized, and as a consequence some babies suffered from those infant infections. But now some hope and maybe the explanation for this condition.
** Another Cause For S.I.D.S. Was Found **
Dr. Sprott in New Zealand has discovered 6 years ago that when the flame retardant chemicals along with a common household fungus are subjected to the baby's hot moist breath, the chemicals are changed to toxic gases, arsene, phosgene, and stibine, which are as toxic and lethal as the gases in the Tokyo subway a few years ago.
** How Has Getting Rid of Flame Retardant Chemicals Changed The Sl.I.D.S. Problem? **
There have been no cases of SIDS in NZ since theses mattresses have been changed. This is one explanation why the method of "Back to Sleep" has been effective to a minor degree, in our country.
