*Exposed to Smoke? Stress? Vigorous Exercise? On a Special Diet?
Pregnant? In Menopause? Have Cancer or Arthritis?*

(Contents taken from Chapter 8 of Feed Your Body Right by Dr. Lendon Smith)

Are you exposed to tobacco smoke or pollutants, drugs, stress, or
vigorous exercise? Do you eat cooked, unsaturated fats and
processed food? Do you have anemia, cancer, or arthritis? Are
you on a low-fat diet, a high phosphorus diet (meat and soft
drinks), pregnant, lactating, an adolescent, on a strict
vegetarian diet, or in menopause? All of these conditions will
cause you to be deficient in Vitamin C, D, E, or Biotin.

*How do we tell if we are deficient in one of these?*
If the contents of the bottle smells good, or there is no smell,
it suggests you need it at the time you smell it. (To read about
smelling vitamins go to past issues: found at:
http://www.iwr.com/ezine/issues.htm

*What kinds of problems indicate a deficiency of Vitamin C?*
Most people who think the C smells good are alkaline or
irritable, fatigued, anxious, have anorexia, indigestion, easy
bruisability, loose teeth, bleeding gums, slow wound healing,
hair loss, dyspnea (labored breathing), gallstones, allergies,
anemia, or susceptibility to infections.

*Why Should They Be Deficient in Vitamin C?*
People who need C can be exposed to smoke, pollutants, stress,
injuries, fever, infections, excessive physical activity, burns,
antibiotic use, drugs, addictions, cortisone, anemia, cancer, or arthritis.

*What Causes a Deficiency of vitamin D?*
The capsules often smell good to some people during the winter
and smell bad during the summer because of the following: excess
or lack of exposure to the sun; osteoporosis, osteomalacia, soft
nails, irritability, nervousness, insomnia, muscle cramps, joint
pain, large number of cavities, burning in mouth and throat,
diarrhea, myopia,or sweaty scalp.

*What kinds of problems indicate a deficiency of vitamin D?*
If a person is low in vitamin D, the contents of the bottle will
have no smell or a good smell. This vitamin is needed if there
is a lack of sunshine, one is on a low-fat diet, or a high
phosphorus diet (meat and soft drinks), pregnancy, lactation,
adolescence, a vegan diet (a strict vegetarian diet that
proscribes dairy products as well as animal flesh), menopause, or malabsorption.

*What causes a deficiency of vitamin E?*
Vitamin E is needed if one is exposed to tobacco smoke or
pollutants, drugs, stress, vigorous exercise, chronic ingestion
of cooked, unsaturated fats and processed food, or chronic laxative use.

*What kinds of problems indicate a deficiency of vitamin E?*
The capsules of E smell good to many who have anemia, diabetes,
elevated cholesterol, low hormone production, low sex drive,
infertility, premenstrual syndrome, menstrual difficulties,
disease of liver, kidneys, pancreas, ulcerative colitis,
malabsorption, ulcers, muscle swelling or wasting, brittle or
falling hair, lupus, gout, or arthritis.

*What causes a deficiency of Biotin?*
This is needed if one is on a poor diet or a fast, during
pregnancy, lactation, or there is malabsorption or stress.

*What kinds of problems indicate a deficiency of Biotin?*
These tablets usually have no smell and most people get it from
most any diet. Those who need it may be fatigued, depressed,
have a scaly, gray-looking dermatitis, seborrhea, eczema,
cheilosis, a smooth magenta-colored tongue, insomnia, muscle
pains, nausea, vomiting, infections, anemia, or
hypercholesterolemia (excess cholesterol)

*The following is part of a testimony given by Dr. Mona Harrison M.D.,
for Noni juice--the product your sponsors promote for good health.*

Dr. Harrison received her degree from the University of Maryland
and went on to become the assistant dean of Boston University
School of Medicine. As chief medical officer for D.C. General
Hospital, she directed the trauma center, emergency center, and
outpatient services. She currently specializes in pediatrics and family medicine.

As a doctor, I find it necessary to stay current with the
alternative medical products on the market. I have to know what
effects they may have on my patients.

I learned about the noni juice a few months ago from one of my
staff members. After two weeks on noni, she had experienced
dramatic results, including the virtual elimination of her
varicose veins and a long-term digestive problem.

I sent several bottles to patients around the country. I told
them to try noni, but didn't let them know there was anything
extraordinary about it. The following results have been
documented by other physicians and are not just my own observations.

One of my patients was suffering from kidney cancer with
metastases, or the movement of malignant cells, to her lung and
brain. She had been given only two weeks to live. Within that
two-week period, she took noni juice and it cleared up her lung
lesions. That was back in November (1996) and she is still with us.

Another patient who had positive results with noni was a woman
with degenerative arthritis who'd been in pain for approximately
twenty years. She'd had knee replacements in 1990, but that
didn't solve the problem. She had to walk with a cane and had a
hard time getting up from a sitting position. After being on
noni for three days, she was able to throw her cane away, get up
from a sofa, and run most of the way across the room without
pain. She knew that the noni had done it, because it was the only
thing she had changed in her life.

(Editor's note: She also talks about liver cancer, macular
deneration, multiple sclerosis, blood sugar problems, sleep
problems, ovarian cycles, problems with the immune system, the
thyroid and thymus, depression, prostrate problems.)

The modern world of medicine is finally starting to catch up to
the knowledge of ancient times. We now have the equipment
necessary to evaluate what it is about the noni plant that allows
it to cause such dramatic improvement in so many areas of the
body. Noni, an ancient remedy, is finally being validated by
breakthroughs in modern technology.
