**** Happy New Year To All Of You ****
1998 was our first full year putting out our newsletter. Obviously you appreciate these as our list of subscribers includes 1,400 and is growing every week. Thanks to all of you for giving us a good year. We want the year 1999 to be even more helpful to you than 1998. For us to continue giving you this ezine free every week the number of our subscribers has to dramatically increase. We need your help to do this. We would appreciate your forwarding this issue to your friends suggesting they sign up. This is one of the more important ways our subscription list can experience significant growth.

**** Lots of Subscribers Means More Work ****Since our list of subscribers has grown we are now turning over the emailing for our ezine "AAA Alternative Health Tips" to Oaknet Publishing. That means the directions for subscribing and unsubscribing have changed. You will see the new subscription information at the end of this ezine. Oaknet has been real easy to work with so we suggest if you need the services of such a company you check them out.

*Dr. Smiths Early Days of Practice* by Lendon M. Smith, M.D.*Did Dr. Smiths Medical Training Enable Him to Make People Well?*
In my training and my early years of practice, I gave good advice and gave the shots as recommended, but the little tykes were still getting sick. Mothers asked me Why does he get sick? Is it bad genes from the father's side of the family? I felt something was missing. Was it something I missed in medical school?*How Did Dr. Smith Open Up To Alternative Methods?*
I had to do some reevaluating of my philosophy of child care and my advice to parents. My office was next door to a television station so I was passing out some advice to the community. People began to suggest some alternatives, such as raw onion for a burn, vitamin C for a cold, a chiropractic adjustment for a backache. What was going on here? We had been taught that all non-M.D. advice was quackery and not based on the scientific method. A respected neighbor handed me her copy of Adelle Davis, Lets Have Healthy Children. I read it although I had been told that she was off-base. But some of her methods made some sense. I began to use those ideas. They worked. It opened a door for me and in the next room there were six more doors. The more doors I opened, the more doors were still waiting for me. It was exciting and it was fun. I began to use these methods and found they were helpful.*What Does The Government Tell Us About Our Foods?*
We all must be aware that as far back as 1933 our U.S. Department of Agriculture has admitted that our top-soil is mineral deficient. It has washed and blown away. Most farmers only put NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) on the ground along with the pesticides and herbicides. We heed the full complement of minerals. Even if you only buy certified organic foods, without the poisons, you are missing the minerals.*What Does This Tell Us About What We Should Eat?*
The point I am trying to make in this pronouncement is that all this information has been proven to be the healthy way to raise a child, and moreover, is in the peer-reviewed medical journals. We cannot, or will not, go back to primitive ways of living and eating -- running naked through the woods, but we can imitate that lifestyle. Our ancestors didn'tt have grains or dairy until about 10,000 years ago. Our intestines have not evolved to the point that we can digest, absorb, and stay healthy on modern food. We must eat whole foods. If a food is in a box, it has been processed, and is mineral deficient.

***** What Goes Around Comes Around *****
What does that mean for us in this situation? We interpret it to mean we give you the newsletter for free, you let others know about it, and more subscribers sign up. A completed circle. We are in the business of selling Noni juice and of signing up others as distributors who will with our help also sell it. The more subscribers we have the more people we will have going to our Sunrise International web site http://www.iwr.com/noni-juice/ to learn about Noni Juice. The more people who visit our web site, the more sales we make. The more our sales of Noni increase, the more people will be helped and the more we can afford to send these ezines to you for nothing.Who do you know who has a new computer and has gone on line? Will you forward this issue to them and suggest they sign up? We'll let you know in future issues how much our subscription list has grown.
Don't forget, first click 'forward' and email this to a friend. Then go to http://www.iwr.com/noni-juice/ and see what we are about.
And 'yes' thanks for doing both. We appreciate you.
