** Vaccines - Dr. Smith Relates His Experience With Vaccines **
(Contents taken from the writing of Dr. Lendon Smith, M.D)

* I Was Taught To Give Shots *

I believed everything I was taught in medical school (the science place). The paradigm was make a diagnosis and then treat with a drug or surgery. I got good grades, had an internship and two years of pediatric resident training. Then I went into practice with three older pediatricians. Our routine was to have the babies --- with their mothers --- come in every month for the first half-year of life, and the every two months. After the first year it was every few months or at least once a year. Is was to make sure the baby was growing at a satisfactory rate, suggest changes in the diet, start solid foods, but mainly to give the shots, and vaccines suggested by our mother/god, the American Academy of Pediatrics.

* Did the Child Ever Have Bad Effects? * A few of the parents called the night of the shots because of a fever and a high-pitched cry. Our response was to use some aspirin. The episodes passed, and we felt that the sickness the infant experienced was worth the risk because we had been taught how devastating and sometimes fatal were those diseases which we were trying to immunize the infant against.

* Were The Shots Really Needed? * There are a few flies in this ointment. The shots only provide antibody immunity, which can be measured, of course, but why did some children still get the diseases such as whooping cough, hard measles, German measles, and mumps. It must also be pointed out that the incidence of these diseases was disappearing as much as 90 percent in the population just before practitioners were performing the mass immunizations.

*** Dr. Lendon Smith Drinks Noni Too ***

Dr. Lendon Smith is well known on television as a pediatrician. As the years passed he became interested in the field of alternative health. Dr. Smith is a distributor of Noni Juice. Here he tells about the benefits he personally receives from Noni Juice.

"I have been drinking NONI juice for a couple of years now, and I am Mr. Perfect at age 77. However, except for an episode with a "generous" prostate (removed a year ago), I have no health complaints. I am not a flawed person. How can I get any better? I am taking all the recommended vitamins and minerals, I now go to church, and I have found a girl friend whom I had lost 60 years ago. I find laughter is a great health enhancer. My only trouble is that I sometimes forget the punchline for an otherwise great joke."

"I experimented using NONI juice on a fungal groin rash last year. The rash cleared overnight. My nosebleeds are only occasional now with the NONI. I use about a bottle a week. If I need to eat or drink something, NONI is the perfect item to keep my blood sugar at the right level."

"I understand that the breadfruit tree (Citrifolia) was the item that Captain Cook and Captain Bligh went after in French Polynesia. Let's hope the supply does not run out"

(Editor's note: If you hadn't realized Dr. Smith has a sense of humor you now do.)
