Vaccines (Part Four)- Dr. Smith Relates His Experience With Vaccines (Contents taken from the writings and reading of Dr. Lendon Smith, M.D.)
* What Happens When A Person Is Exposed To The Disease? *
When a susceptible child is exposed to measles, the infected droplets enter the nasopharynx. The virus multiplies silently in the tonsils, adenoids, and then on to the lymph nodes of the neck. Several days later it passes into the blood and on to the spleen, the liver, thymus and the bone marrow. These are all parts of the immune system. Soon symptoms of the measles appear and circulating antibodies appear in the blood. The high titer of antibodies appears when the symptoms are most obvious: fever, mucus, aches, cough, and after the rash appears, the symptoms begin to abate. That child is now permanently immune to measles; these symptoms indicate that the immune system is clearing the virus from the blood. The catarrh is another method of expelling the virus. The entire immune system has been involved and has a memory function. A healthy child is developing his/her immune system, which is valuable to ward off other viral and bacterial onslaughts. Not so with the shots which only give partial immunity.
According to Dr. Richard Moslowitz, M.D., the vaccines do indeed increase the antibodies but "the price we pay for those antibodies is the persistence of virus elements in the blood for prolonged periods of time, perhaps permanently, which in turn presupposes a systematic weakening of our ability to mount an effective response to other acute infections." He feels that these vaccines may be suppressing the immune response, and future infectious invasions are poorly handled. The latent viruses remain inside cells of the body and may be responsible for autoimmune diseases, which are on the increase. It is all part of a new concept: chronic immune failure.
Can the use of vaccines explain hyperactivity, childhood diabetes, thyroiditis, arthritis, asthma, chronic fatigue, myalgia, and cancer, which all represent a failure of the immune system?
In Australia, I understand, the shots are not mandatory. About half the children get the shots and half do not. The incidence of the diseases is the same in both groups. Why not do something like that here and follow these cases and see if there is a difference in incidence of the diseases and other immune failure conditions.
