** Dr. Smithis Thoughts On Asthma ** (taken from Dr. Smith's notes)
** What Causes Asthma? **
* From my experience I have concluded that asthma represents a failure of the adrenal glands. * Cow milk, soy, corn, wheat products, eggs, peanuts, and shell fish are common triggers for asthma.
** What Might One Do For Asthma? **
* If the child had ear infections, had tonsils removed, or colic, it suggests that cow milk is the villain, and soy or goat milk should be substituted and then the milks rotated every few days.
* Avoiding the common allergens would be prudent: no furry animals. Snakes and salamanders might be good pets.
* Cow milk, soy, corn, wheat products, eggs, peanuts, and shell fish might be avoided all together or at least only eaten every four days.
* Pantothenic acid and vitamin C are essential to support adrenal gland function.
** How Can One Prevent Asthma? **
* Avoid stress, exercising in cold weather, smoking, eating sugar and junk food. * Add magnesium to your diet, 500 mg daily will help relax the bronchial tubes. * If there is a history of allergies in the family, everyone should be on optimal doses of vitamin C and pantothenic acid.
Dr. Smith says asthma is one of those conditions that has responded to noni juice. You can take it to ward off asthma or take it after you have it.
