*** Osteoporosis and other problems related to a Calcium Deficiency (Part Three) ***

** Is there a connection between the consumption of milk and osteoporosis? **

Decide for yourself. * Scandinavian countries devour enormous amounts of milk, and have the worst fracture rates on the planet. * U.S. is next. * In Singapore where the average calcium intake is less than 300 milligrams, the citizens have 1/5 of our fracture rate. * In other countries people are on a low calcium diet, but do not get osteoporosis.

** What Are The Factors That Contribute To Osteoporosis? **

* The end result of saying, "I want to be thin." is an undernourished person who develops osteoporosis. * Also saying, "Nice girls don't build muscles." brings on problems because strong muscles mean strong bones. * Surgery on ovaries is a factor. * Fluoride is a negative factor. * Smoking is a negative factor. * Osteoporosis is not from low estrogen after menopause. * Soft drinks with phosphorus pull calcium out of the bones. * Caffeine takes calcium out of the bones, as does alcohol. * Fat in the diet combines with calcium to create soaps which are unabsorbable. * Sugar also takes calcium out of the bones. * Increase in milk drinking before age 24 years gave the highest hip density in later adulthood. * Milk increases the ionized calcium that is better utilized. However, if a person has a milk sensitivity, he/she may not absorb the calcium from the dairy products.

** What is the relationship between a high protein diet and osteoporosis? **

Dr. Melvyn Werbach states: The high protein diet will lead to osteoporosis despite an adequate calcium intake. The higher the protein, the higher should be the calcium intake. * New Zealand and the U.S. have the highest rates of osteoporosis and these people also have the highest meat diet. * In the 60 to 89 year olds, meat eaters lost 35% of their bone mass. * Vegetarians have less osteoporosis. * The lacto-ovo-vegetarians lose only 18% of their bone mass.

** We Need The Calcium So What Do We Do? **

* An absorbable calcium supplement along with magnesium and vitamin D would be a prudent prophylactic mechanism during childhood and well into adulthood.

*** Noni Juice Does Wonders For What Ails Us ***

Here is what some Noni juice drinkers have said about it.

Birger Olovsson from Gothenburg, Sweden I was skeptical at first and I said, No this product is not for me. But after a couple of weeks I tried the product and the first thing I felt was energy. Lots of energy. After that I've taken Noni juice every-day for a year and I feel great today.

Phil Andrus from Bassano, Alberta, "Canada I am a retired farmer in my late 60's. Noni juice has definitely given me a quality of life I thought I would never see again. I enjoy sharing my Noni juice experience with others and letting them know about my sense of health and well-being. Hopefully I will be able to help others see what Noni juice can do and improve the quality of their life.

Phil Olson from Minnesota iSo many benefits from that bottle of Noni juice! You can be sure it has a prominent spot at the very front of our refrigerator. Both my wife and I treat ourselves to Noni juice every day, first thing in the morning and benefit greatly. We try to tell as many people as possible about this wonderful juice.
